ICELAND
Iceland is a country like no other. From its volcanic black sand beaches, sharp mountain ranges to its glaciers, it is a true place of wonder. A place where nature experimented with colors and textures, creating surreal vast landscapes that are a unique spectacle to behold.
Iceland is a nation of only a few hundred thousand. With most of its population concentrated in a couple of large cities, the island is sparsely populated. It is a land where nature still reigns and people had to adapt to its rules. But the people listened, and unlike in other places, made attempts to live in harmony with the natural environment. Sourcing only what the land offers, harvesting renewable energy from its strong winds, currents, and mainly it’s geothermal activity which manifests itself as an image of mars-like structures, offering a glimpse of what our future extraterrestrial settlements may look like.
