El NIDO, PHILIPPINES
Pangulasian island, off the coast of El Nido in the Philippines, is a place of wonder. Bright colors, vibrant nature, fresh air, no light or noise pollution make the visit a unique experience. Life is as abundant underwater as it is on the surrounding islands and there is plenty to explore. Just arrive and disconnect.
At the same time, one can’t miss noticing the accumulating plastic debris on every single beach. It is hard to comprehend that despite the fact that the destructive touch of humanity hasn’t been felt as hard in these parts, it still reaches and pollutes even in the most remote of places. A simple fact that makes one realize how interconnected and interdependent we are, not only digitally, but as a species on a global scale.
